Pentagon Chief Asks Russia To Help UN Envoy Build Stability In Middle-East

BATTLEFORWORLD – April 27, 2018: And here we go again, another military adventure being planned by Israel and its financial shadow hands, to animate the United States, Britain, France and Germany to support and aid military action. And so the troika+1/three+1 musketeers are anxiously waiting for the next military blood battle in the Middle-East.

The shadow hands instigate conflicts and call on the people not involved in the mischief making to help make peace.

And it is now obvious that the “Iran nuclear deal” would be used to open up a new war front in the Middle-East with Iran. These peace deals are shams and are always hollow and riddled with lies, and are used as pretext to start wars in the future.

Mattis: Direct Israel-Iran Conflict ‘Very Likely’

SPUTNIKNEWS – April 27, 2018: Pentagon chief James Mattis told reporters Friday that direct conflict between Israeli and Iranian forces is “very likely,” just days after French President Emmanuel Macron confirmed that he believes US President Donald Trump will scrap the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.

The defense secretary said conflict between the two countries in Syria is “very likely… because Iran continues to do its proxy work there through Hezbollah.”

Mattis later told lawmakers in a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing, “I can see how it might start, but I am not sure when or where.” Mattis’ counterpart, Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, met with Mattis after the hearing, according to the Jerusalem Post. Liberman also met with US National Security Adviser John Bolton, who he called a “loyal friend to the state of Israel” in a tweet.

Tensions in the region have continued to rise since US, French and British missile strikes targeted Syria two weeks ago. Newly minted Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that it was “unlikely” Trump would keep the US in the Iran deal during his first news conference at NATO headquarters in Brussels, echoing the perspective of the French head of state.

Pentagon Chief Calls On Russia To Help UN Envoy Build Stability In Middle-East

TASS – April 27, 2018 – Russia needs to help United Nations Special Envoy for Syria Staffan de Mistura build stability in the Middle East, Pentagon chief James Mattis said ahead of a meeting with Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman.

“We need to all get behind the Geneva Convention process, or the Geneva process, and come to a diplomatic solution for this. And Staffan de Mistura has been trying, and Russia needs to help him if they want to see a way forward to a more stable Middle East,” Mattis said.

“I think anything that’s done to continue this fighting in Syria is actually a tragedy,” the Pentagon chief added.

Mattis also said that the United States had not yet made a decision on withdrawing from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) for Iran’s nuclear program.
