Israeli citizen arrested for plot to assassinate Netanyahu

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | April 8, 2024: The war in Gaza continues to irate people all over the world and the fallout has prompted Israeli authorities to take swift action against a central Israeli resident suspected of engaging in online incitement targeting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

After an extensive investigation jointly by the Shin Bet security agency and the cyber branch of the Israel Police’s Lahav 433 unit, the person instigating threats was arrested for allegedly disseminating content on the Telegram messaging platform that allegedly incited acts of terrorism, expressing specific references toward Netanyahu.

The Israeli authorities have not disclosed the exact nature of the rabble-rousing materials, and shows that the government is determine to arrest persons involved in online threats to prevent potential acts of violence from erupting.

Political tensions continue to escalate in Israel where senior officials, including Netanyahu, have become the subjects of increased threat voicing rhetoric and hostile behavior. Incidents of this type have occurred in the past, with persons detained for allegedly inciting violence against the prime minister.

Israeli Strikes in Gaza Proving Part of ‘Concerted Effort to Industrialize Genocide’; Israel puts AI to use

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | April 6, 2024: The Israeli military is reported to have marked 37,000 Palestinians as suspected militants as well as homes are usually targeted using the AI (Artificial Intelligence) system called ‘Lavender’ to carryout possible air strikes during the course of military activity.

The Sputnik radio show Fault Lines hosted by Jamarl Thomas on Friday interviewed Esteban Carrillo, a Beirut-based Ecuadorian journalist and current editor for The Cradle, discussed the current situation unfolding in the Gaza Strip.

The journalist was asked about the Lavender targeting system which is an AI setup designed to mark all “suspected operatives” in Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) as potential threats, where Carrillo responded that genocide is a “time-consuming endeavor” and the technology used by the Israeli military most likely came from the West. The radio show host Thomas noted that the technology is acting as a form of “industrialized killing.”

According to Carrillo: “It’s not just the Lavender, they’re also using facial recognition cameras in Gaza to pick out people who they consider to be Hamas,” and “because, if you go by the numbers provided by Tel Aviv, every man, adult male in Gaza who has been killed is a terrorist.” And “if you were killed in Gaza, you are a terrorist. This is what an Israeli reserve officer told Haaretz last week.” The journalist noted “that a terrorist is anybody who gets killed in the field. They use these facial recognition cameras, they use AI to arrest, to kidnap Palestinian men, Palestinian women, I’m sure as well, children, to torture them, to keep them in detention.” And highlighted that “we need to really keep in mind that a lot of Western tech companies are helping Israel do this. Google, Microsoft, they have contracts with the Israeli army, with the Israeli government to provide them with this technology.” “This is Western aid. Just like the weapons, just like the political cover.”

The World Central Kitchen (WCK) organization who had seven employees killed on Monday (April 1) by Israeli airstrikes, its founder Chef José Andrés said his WCK team was deliberately targeted by the Israeli military while in a deconfliction zone under the control of Israeli forces who were given prior notice of their presence in the area.

US President Joe Biden warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday after the fatal strike, noting that any future support from the US depends on the protection of civilians and aid workers in Gaza. As this war conflict gets traction in media, experts are noting that this is the first time the US government has threatened to pull support from Israel. And since the conflict started, to date, over 30,000 Palestinians have been killed and the very figure has not influenced the Biden administration to take action against Israel. The US government likely took a standpoint because an American citizen was among those killed, and if that was not done, the Biden administration would have been in deep trouble.

“Joe Biden, according to all of these reports, he gave Netanyahu an ultimatum,” reported in the news. And “there is no specificity about what the ultimatum actually said. Was he thinking about weapons? Was he talking about a political cover that the US has afforded Israel? We can only assume it might be the two things. Because as you said, one American gets killed, right? The reality is [a few] white, Europeans, Australians, Polish, get killed and all of a sudden the entire world decides that maybe Israel is actually doing crimes against humanity,” Carrillo said. Further adding that “Israel, today, said they would temporarily open another land crossing into Gaza, which is something we have been talking about for months. If you want more humanitarian aid into Gaza, open more crossings because hundreds of trucks are waiting to enter and protect humanitarian workers. So, yes, there’s large condemnation about the deaths of these seven people.” “But, because they are not Palestinian, because they are not Arab, all of a sudden their lives matter more? That, to me, is what is the biggest story here in the end.”

In “Gaza, a media office this week updated the death toll to have already surpassed 33,000, including 7,000 missing over the past six months. So you’re probably looking at a death toll of likely 40,000,” said Carrillo. And the Biden administration has recently authorized one thousand MK-82 bombs in the latest arms shipment to Israel according to the US media, and these weapons were approved for shipment before the Israeli military bombed the aid convoy. The aftereffect of the strike have politicians simply “clutching their pearls” trying to say “all the right things” as weapons continue to flow into Israel from the United States and allies.

Carrillo highlighted that “following the attack, … there was a shipment of aid that was coming from Cyprus that was turned around in the Mediterranean Sea. Because this is the Israeli policy, it’s like when they were laying siege to Al-Shifa hospital. You know, the question was, why Al-Shifa hospital? Why hospitals?”

The media propaganda coming out of Israel “want you to believe that the hospitals are these big military barracks. They’re full of Hamas and PIJ and whoever else. And, in reality, the policy of what’s happening in Israel, in Gaza is to make the Strip uninhabitable. Poland summons Israeli envoy over aid worker’s death

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | April 5, 2024: The fallout from the bombing of aid workers from the World Central Kitchen (WCK) by Israel’s Defense Forces (IDF) continue as Warsaw today summoned Israeli Ambassador Yacov Livne over the killing of a Polish aid worker in Gaza. Authorities in Poland are irate in the way Israel has handled the bombing incident and are demanding compensation for the victim’s family.

The Poles were also outraged by comments made by Livne, to the YouTube channel Kanal Zero, where the diplomat insisted that the deaths of the aid workers were not a war crime, but a tragedy, and said the IDF never targets humanitarian groups on purpose.

The Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Thursday said Livne should have used the opportunity to communicate to the Polish media firstly by “say[ing] a simple, human apology.” And President Andrzej Duda of Poland also requested an explanation, and said he has “no doubt that Israel should pay compensation to [the Polish] citizen’s family.”

The IDF on Monday carried out three consecutive airstrikes on a humanitarian convoy that Chef José Andrés the founder of WCK said was deliberate, which killed seven foreign nationals working for the relief organization, including Damian Sobol from Poland.

IDF continues to give conflicting reasons, the latest of which said that the strikes were a result of “misidentification,” and President Isaac Herzog of Israel apologized to WCK for the deaths of the aid workers.

On Thursday Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski spoke over the phone with his Israeli counterpart Israel Katz and “demanded an explanation of the attack”. Sikorski also wrote on Twitter/X saying that “If Israel deliberately attacked the convoy, the families of the victims deserve an apology and compensation”.

UK govt lawyers conclude Israel in breach of humanitarian law

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | March 31, 2024: The British Observer newspaper on Saturday reported that lawyers for the UK government have established that Israel has been breaking humanitarian law in the midst of its ongoing war in Gaza against the Palestinian militant group Hamas, said a senior Tory, according to the leaked audio revealed.

The remarks were made earlier this month during a Conservative Party fundraising event by chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Select Committee, Alicia Kearns. “The Foreign Office has received official legal advice that Israel has broken international humanitarian law but the government has not announced it,” said Kearns, who has been pressing the government on the matter, said during the event.

The legal assessment by the lawyers effectively makes the UK government complicit in the Israeli military violations, and that defense cooperation should have been terminated by London immediately after the evaluation of the war situation in Gaza was presented.

Kearns further states that “They have not said it, they haven’t stopped arms exports. They have done a few very small sanctions on Israeli settlers and everyone internationally agrees that settlers are illegal, that they shouldn’t be doing what they’re doing, and the ways in which they have continued and the money that’s been put in.”

Kearns also noted that she, like the UK Foreign Secretary James Cameron, firmly believes in Israel’s right to “self defense,” however there were legal boundaries/limitations for exercising this. That “The right to self defense has a limit in law. It is not limitless,” and warns that this approach by Israel in handling the escalation could end up hurting its own and that of Britain in long-term security.

On Saturday, the recordings obtained by the Observer appears beyond question, that Kearns has been rather vocal about the matter and urges the UK government to make public its legal assessment of Israel’s military actions against the Palestinians.

World Central Kitchen founder José Andrés says Israel targeted staff in Gaza ‘car by car’

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | April 4, 2024: Chef José Andrés founder of the World Central Kitchen (WCK) has accused the Israeli military in Gaza for targeting his aid workers “systematically, car by car”. And that Monday’s military strike killing seven members of his staff was not a mistake, he said, and that Israeli forces had been told of their movements.

The WCK workers killed by the Israeli military strike are from Australia, Canada, Poland, the UK and the US as well as Palestine.

The charity organization said the aid convoy was made up of three vehicles that were hit while leaving the Deir al-Balah warehouse, “where the team had unloaded more than 100 tonnes of humanitarian food aid brought to Gaza on the maritime route”. Of the three vehicles, two were armored clearly displaying the charity’s logo, however, all three were hit during the Israeli military strike.

On Wednesday, Andrés the Spanish-American celebrity chef spoke to the Reuters news agency saying, that this was not a “bad luck situation where, ‘oops,’ we dropped the bomb in the wrong place”.

Andrés also did a separate interview with Israel’s Channel 12 news and said “it was really a direct attack on clearly marked vehicles whose movements were known by everybody at the IDF [Israel Defense Forces]”.

As a result of the bombing of the WCK aid workers the UN announced it was pausing movements at night to evaluate the security situation for at least 48 hours.

The British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak spoke to Mr. Netanyahu on Tuesday and described the situation in Gaza as “increasingly intolerable” and that what happened “demanded a thorough and transparent independent investigation” into the killing of the WCK workers.

Megyn Kelly Questions Ben Shapiro on Whether Daily Wire Is Only Free Speech ‘Until It Comes to Israel’

Who has been in a feud with owner Shapiro after she criticized Israel’s conduct in the Israel-Hamas war where she was accused of anti-Semitism.

Megyn Kelly in her SiriusXM show argued that the “right likes to eat its own” and asked whether The Daily Wire supports “free speech”. And put the question in an interview with Ben Shapiro, asking: “It has now spawned into a debate about whether The Daily Wire is pro-free speech. The accusation is you are until it comes to Israel. How do you respond?”

Shapiro argued that the Daily Wire is a “publisher” and not a “platform.”

Israeli strike kills foreign aid workers in Gaza

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | April 2, 2024: Israeli military forces on Monday in a “targeted attack” bombing, killed seven aid workers, including four foreigners that were providing meals for the World Central Kitchen (WCK) an NGO, founded by Spanish-American celebrity chef Jose Andres. And as a result, all operations by the group in the Palestinian enclave have been suspended following the incident.

Initially, five fatalities were reported from the airstrike, but the casualty count was updated by WCK adding to the death toll in a statement released Tuesday. The victims from the Israeli military bombing include a dual US-Canadian citizen, three Palestinians, an Australian, a Pole and a British national, the WCK group announced.

The NGO said its staff members were attacked in the town of Deir al-Balah in central part of Gaza as they were leaving a warehouse after offloading tons of food aid that was delivered earlier to the Palestinian enclave by sea transport. The NGO aid workers were driving through a de-conflicted zone in two armored cars with the WCK logo [clearly visible] on them as well as a vehicle that was not armor-plated. The aid convoy was struck [by Israeli missiles] despite the WCK group coordinating its movements with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), in a statement released by the NGO.

Clearly, according to WCK CEO Erin Gore: “This is not only an attack against WCK, this is an attack on humanitarian organizations showing up in the most dire of situations, where food is being used as a weapon of war. This is unforgivable.”

Videos of the scene where the attack took place showed bodies of several people in World Central Kitchen vests, identified carrying British, Polish and Australian passports were seen in the clips.

In a posting on X, Michelin-starred chef Andres wrote that he was “heartbroken” by what happened from the [Israeli military] attack. The chef urged the Israeli government to stop the “indiscriminate killing,” and the restriction of humanitarian aid and “using food as a weapon” in Gaza [against] the Palestinians.

The country of Australia has confirmed that one of its citizens was killed in the IDF strike on the food aid convoy, and the Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said that Canberra “expects full accountability for the deaths of aid workers, which is completely unacceptable.”

The US National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson wrote on X, saying that Washington [DC] was “deeply troubled” by the deaths of the WCK staff workers, and said “We urge Israel to swiftly investigate what happened.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has acknowledged that the IDF military was behind the airstrike/bombing that killed the WCK aid workers, but he insisted that it was an accident. Saying: “Unfortunately, in the last 24 hours there was a tragic case of our forces unintentionally hitting innocent people in the Gaza Strip,” and said that “it happens in war,” and promised to investigate the incident thoroughly, speaking from a hospital after having his hernia surgery.

Joe Rogan Accuses Israel of ‘Genocide,’ Compares Gaza to ‘Holocaust’

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | March 31, 2024: Joe Rogan, martial arts expert and podcaster, has come under fire for saying that Israel is committing “genocide” in Gaza, and compared Israel’s war against Hamas to the Holocaust.

Rogan showed video footage circulating on social media of Palestinians being killed by Israeli bombs, and on Tuesday’s March 26 podcast show said Israel was committing genocide.

Guest, Kurt Metzger: … We (i.e., the USA) are China, people don’t think so, but we are China by the way. …The real push to buy TikTok was not because of all the Hamas videos showing up of TikTok, but videos being posted by Israelis soldiers on TikTok showing bombs killing/targeting Palestinians are getting out [- and going viral]. [And the media gatekeepers in the West do not like this, because it changes the narrative about what is going on.]

Rogan: What are Israeli soldiers posting on TikTok?

Kurt Metzger: Well, all the war crimes that they deal with. You don’t have to believe the Arabs. Look at the Israeli News, Israeli politicians, their ambassadors when they come to the United States to speak. Listen to what they say, because that is what I unfortunately did and it was quite disturbing. – Israeli ambassador [Tzipi Hotovely] to the UK said: Yeah, you know Dresden; we gotta do Dresden.

Rogan: The entire city of Dresden was bombed indiscriminately [by the British and American militaries to force the Germans to surrender].

Kurt Metzger: Not indiscriminately, but on purpose, targeting civilians to break their will. – I thought every body knew it was a war crime.

Rogan: So the Israeli ambassador was essentially saying, “we have to commit a war crime,” or “we are doing a war crime in Gaza.”

Kurt Metzger: We (i.e., Americans) are living in wokie times, the clash of the cultures. Every time I hear an Israeli person or Bibi [Netanyahu] speak, it sounds like embarrassing [others/belittling-others].

Rogan: … Isn’t it crazy though when you see the difference between people looking at things objectively vs people that look at things tribally. And if you are on the right side, you support Ukraine against Russia, and [the West’s narrative is] Russia is the invader, this horrible country, etc. But this thing (i.e., the Israeli-Palestinian war), just the death count [alone] it just [looks like it’s] nothing [or not important]. – The Jewish thing is a wild thing, because it is a race you can join (- people think of it as a race, but it’s a religion).

Kurt Metzger: Hitler thought of it that way, and a lot of Zionists think of it that way. A bunch of Jewish people do not.

Rogan: … Buy they (i.e., the establishment media) are all agreeing – we are going to do something to throttle the opinions of people that have problematic opinions in their eyes, but its not illegal. – That’s an hilarious one, to infantilize people to the point where we are telling them don’t research things, we will handle that, we are the professionals, meanwhile we lie all the time.

Rogan: … Look what is going on with Candice Owens and Ben Shapiro. Like, what did she say, I want to know what she was fired for. Was it criticism of Israel? Did she show what Edward Snowden had put up on Twitter/X showing [a] drone bombing those men/unarmed-people that were walking towards the rubble? That clearly shows that they were not causing any danger to any body – they just bomb them. – But they (i.e., the Israeli military) always say that they are targeting Hamas and everybody else is a casualty.

Kurt Metzger: It’s just like, for [example] Biden or whoever you like, to cover up for them… No one knows what to think now, because if you can’t talk about that, to say that is real, then “genocide” is OK, just as long as we are doing it. Your tribe, your people, went through the holocaust and now you are willing to do it. A country that was officially founded in 1948 and you guys are willing to do what was done to you…on a small scale in Gaza.
