Putin reveals truth kept back by Western elites in interview with Carlson
BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | February 22, 2024: Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in a news briefing today at the G20 meeting of foreign ministers in Rio de Janeiro, that the Western elites acted aggressively against Russian President Vladimir Putin’s interview with US journalist Tucker Carlson, because it revealed the truth that they keep back from their voters [i.e., the American public].
“Remember how aggressively Russian President Vladimir Putin‘s interview with Tucker Carlson, which revealed the truth that Western elites keep back from their voters, was met in the West,” the minister said.
He further noted that the West often employs double standards, hypocrisy and outright lies, sacrificing diplomatic methods for the peaceful settlement of disputes caused by power struggle, [and that the elites in the West prefers] ‘hybrid wars’, total confrontation, because they strive to inflict a strategic defeat to the opponent.
