RT – September 16, 2018: The article highlights that President Donald Trump has tweeted “newfound wealth” would be lost if people vote for Democrats in midterm elections. His statement has sent many wondering where’s that wealth may be.
With the US Senate and House elections inching closer, the President has ramped up his efforts to win swing voters as he bragged about the nation’s economic success under the Republican leadership.
Last week, Trump economic adviser was forced to correct his boss after he tweeted last Monday (September 10) that the GDP rate was higher than the unemployment rate “for the first time in over 100 years!”
Democrats, however, argue, that even when the numbers are real, the credit for the economic recovery is misplaced and it was the previous administration that had paved the way for the present success, leaving Trump with low unemployment rate and stable job growth.
“When you hear how great the economy’s doing right now, let’s just remember when this recovery started,” Obama said in a speech at the University of Illinois on September 7.
“I mean, I’m glad it’s continued, but … suddenly Republicans are saying it’s a miracle,” he added.
(BattleForWorld: Both the Democrats and the Republicans are lying. The economic recovery is from new ways of fixing the books. The economic-miracle-fixing started long ago…with the Obama administration they just applied new tricks or new ways of doing math for unemployment, GDP, etc. The economic-miracle-fixing continued with Trump. Watch a few of Richard Wolff’s videos. And the so-called US economy recovery may even help Trump. And there’s some truth to Trump’s threat. See article: Future Forecast For America)
