THESUN – February 8, 2017: The founder of FACEBOOK Mark Zuckerberg is funding the development of technology with the potential to read the minds of human beings.
The £40 million donated will be divided among researchers.
Dr. Rikky Muller, CEO and founder of a firm called Cortera will be one of the researchers who will receive funding. She’s working to develop “clinically viable and minimally invasive neural interfaces” designed to be used by people suffering from severe disabilities.
Dr. Muller hopes that the research into recording brain activity will allow paralysed people to control prosthetic limbs. Link: Read Complete Article
