Putin’s general calls for massive mobilization; declares ‘WW3 already started’

Maj-Gen Apti Alaudinov is urging the Kremlin to carry out mass mobilisation of up to one million fresh troops. (Note: Alaudinov is a Russian Lieutenant general and a high-ranking member of the Kadyrovites of the National Guard of Russia, and he does not speak officially for the Russian government. However, when he gives his commentary, the western press exploits it as if it’s something official coming from Putin.)

On his Telegram channel on Friday, he said that the deputy chief of the Russian armed forces’ main military-political directorate wrote: “We need to declare mobilisation.” Alaudinov a commander of the Chechnya-based Akhmat special forces, further added to the deputy’s comment saying: “We need to prepare at least half a million people in advance. But realistically one million people. We need to call them up and start preparing them for the fact that the war has already begun, which we already know is happening – World War 3. But it has already taken on a new turn and a new momentum (i.e., using proxies). And so that no one dares to play with us the way they played with all the other countries, and now with Iran. Believe me, we all need to unite, unite, unite at all levels.”

But one source said, the negotiation outcome for peace (or a deceived peace) will not happen. To also include destruction of an Israeli nuclear facility in the city of Dimona, from the Iranian attack.
■ According to military channels, one of the Iranian missiles hit the Israeli Defense Ministry building, causing a fire to break out at the headquarters.

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | June 12, 2025: In the western press on Thursday citing sources, reported that the Israeli Air Force had struck targets in Iran. The Israeli army said it has completed the first phase of the “operation against Iran’s nuclear program,” that included Iranian nuclear and military officials in the first round of targets, the IDF said.

The Times of Israel, according to military sources, published that Netanyahu has convened a security cabinet meeting regarding strikes on Tehran. The Trump administration Secretary of State Mark Rubio has confirmed that the United States did not participate in or assisted the Israeli military during the strikes on Iran.

Reports in the western press, citing US sources, said that Israel is fully prepared for the start of a military campaign against Iran, and that Washington DC expects Tehran to retaliate against some US facilities in neighboring Iraq. The New York Times reported that an Iranian official noted that their military and government officials had already held meetings to discuss ways to retaliate against an Israeli strike inside their country, to include a plan for an immediate counterstrike.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced a state of emergency across the country as a result of the first wave of strikes on Iran. BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | June 12, 2025: CBS News reported that Israel is fully prepared to launch an operation against Iran and has already informed US officials about their plan. Israel noted that it’s anticipating potential Iranian retaliation, especially against US targets in Iraq, causing the US to issue advisory to citizens to leave the region.

The New York Times also reports that Iranian military and government leaders have already met and planed their response to the pending Israeli strike.

A senior Iranian official warned, noting that a barrage of hundreds of ballistic missiles would be launched at Israel without hesitation.

Iranian officials also reacted to comments made by US General Michael E. Kurilla, the head of Central Command, while testifying before a House committee about presenting Donald Trump with “a wide range of options” for a potential strike against Iran.

The State Department said “Based on our latest analysis, we decided to reduce the footprint of our Mission in Iraq.” The Pentagon also approved the departure of family members from military installations in the Middle-East region. “CENTCOM is working in close coordination with our Department of State counterparts, as well as our allies and partners in the region, to maintain a constant state of readiness to support any number of missions around the world at any time,” a defense official said

American intelligence officials said they’re concerned that Israel may strike Iranian nuclear facilities without US consent. Meanwhile, last month Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office dismissed reports stating that Israel was discussing potential strikes with Trump, later reported as “fake news.”

On Wednesday in an interview with the New York Post, Trump said he was “less confident” regarding reaching a deal with Iran after five rounds of negotiations mediated in Oman had failed to produce a breakthrough. Trump previously said he wanted to completely dismantle Iran’s nuclear program, which is what Israel demands, but Tehran has firmly rejected this path.

Ex-Ukraine PM predicts Zelensky will flee country

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | June 11, 2025: Ukraine’s former Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov is predicting that a US-backed effort will eventually remove Vladimir Zelensky where he will resign and leave the country.

Azarov in a Telegram post on Sunday, hinted that the decision to remove Zelensky from power “has already been made in the US” and that Washington DC has given the “go-ahead” for his ouster. He noted that although the Ukrainian leader is getting support from Europe, it is unlikely to change anything, and will “hardly help” him.

The former Prime Minister who served under ousted President Viktor Yanukovich, expects Zelensky to eventually step down, for his mandate officially expired last year. After which he would be replaced by parliamentary speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk, to serve as acting president and begin shaping “a new political landscape” in Ukraine.

“I don’t think Zelensky will remain in Ukraine after this,” and “He will request protection, most likely from special forces, but they will not make such sacrifices for him. The options for his future may vary,” Azarov added.

A week ago, Azarov alleged that the United States had “written off” Zelensky and was arranging a multi-stage plan to force him out. Part of this process in the effort was the recent arrest of Leonid Mindich – described as a financial associate of both Zelensky and presidential chief of staff Andrey Yermak.

The arrest was carried out not by the Prosecutor General’s Office, but by Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office – and these institutions were “created by the US, staffed by the US, and reporting only to the Americans.”

“This is a serious signal that the process of removing Zelensky has begun,” Azarov noted, and said that if Zelensky refuses to step down voluntarily, he will be “forced out.” – US auditors also visited Kiev recently to examine the use of American taxpayer funds – a move attributed to instructions from the Trump administration, Azarov said.

Kellogg said that he believes the peace process will ultimately/in-the-long-run succeed, and highlighted that “escalatory issues” remain. Referring to comments made by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, where he indicated last month that Germany would agree to supply Kiev with Taurus cruise missiles.

The special envoy speaks to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s perspective, saying “he considers this a proxy war by NATO [which was formed by the United States in the lead [as a key player in its creation], along with Canada, and several Western European nations]. And frankly… in a way it is.”

Zelensky ‘playing games’ instead of negotiating

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 30, 2025: Russian first deputy envoy to the UN Dmitry Polyansky told RT in an interview on Friday that the Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky doesn’t want to have meaningful negotiations with Russia and only seeks to prolong the conflict.

“They are making every effort to convince him that Russia isn’t interested in peace,” further adding that “It is absolutely clear that Ukraine isn’t interested in negotiations. They’re simply playing games. For them, it’s not a serious or meaningful negotiation,” and “Everything Kiev now does and says should be analyzed through [the lens] of Ukraine wanting to prolong the war,” Polyansky said.

Russia Ready to Continue, Escalate Military Op in Ukraine ‘For as Long as It Takes’

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 30, 2025: At the United Nations on Friday, Russian Ambassador Vasily Nebenzya warned that the goals of Russia’s operation in Ukraine can be achieved not just by diplomacy, but also through military means. And noted that “The Russian Armed Forces can continue and ramp up military operations for as long as it takes.”

Nebenzya made it clear in his UN speech that a ceasefire is not enough to bring the conflict now being fought between Russia and Ukraine to a sustainable end. And told the security council that “A simple ceasefire is not enough to achieve this [sustainable end of the conflict]. We already once stood at this very crossroads in the context of the Minsk agreements, which were systematically violated by the Western Ukraine.”

“In principle”, Russia is ready to agree to a ceasefire with Ukraine, but also would like Kiev to take steps in this direction. (Battleforworld.com: Sounds like Kiev wants a one-sided ceasefire where it continues to fire missiles at Russia, and Russia should not respond.)

Maybe there is a bit of hope, because the Russian ambassador said that, “In principle, we are prepared to consider the possibility of establishing a ceasefire, which would then, in the future, pave the way for a lasting settlement to the root causes of the conflict. In order to achieve this, however, we need to see the other party taking steps as well.”

If Germany gets involved and provides Taurus missiles to Ukraine, they’re getting directly involved in the conflict, and Russia has the right to “consider all options” to “properly” respond to such move by Berlin, Nebenzya said to the UN Security Council.

“Germany is going to be drawn further into a war with Russia through these actions [providing Taurus missiles], which will give us the right to consider all options so as to properly respond to this unfriendly step. If there is any common sense left in Berlin, if there are still people there who have not forgotten history, they cannot but understand what these new aggressive actions of Germany against Russia will result in,” the Russian ambassador explained.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy fears that if the Ukraine conflict comes to an end, he will face accountability for his actions, noted Nebenzya . Because “If this happens, he’ll have to hold elections and answer before his electorate for what he turned Ukraine into over the last six years, as well as answer for the hundreds of billions of state funds, which he has stolen, and he’ll have to answer to the West, first and foremost, to the Americans for the aid he received.”

The Atlantic reported that the US does not plan to send a delegation to participate in the second round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul on June 2, noting that US President Donald Trump expects progress from the second round of renewed direct talks between Moscow and Kiev. And said Trump has already discussed introducing new sanctions against Russia with his advisers. The White House fears a “a global rise in gas prices if stringent measures are put in place.”

Nebenzya told the UN Security Council during the meeting on Ukraine, that Kiev’s European sponsors are ordering Zelensky to fight until the last Ukrainian. Further adding that “Ukraine has lost millions of its citizens and is on the verge of complete defeat. Its European sponsors are ordering Zelensky and his clique to continue fighting until the last Ukrainian. This is forcing the Kiev regime to round up Ukrainian men on the streets <…>.”

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 29, 2025: Keith Kellogg, the US presidential envoy to Ukraine, accused Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev of warmongering, after he warns that tensions with the United States could escalate into World War III.

Russia could target Berlin if German missiles hit Moscow, and also attack the United States

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 29, 2025: RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan, has warned that Russia would not rule out a direct strike on Berlin if German personnel helped Ukraine target Moscow with German-supplied Taurus missiles.

Chancellor Friedrich Merz said Germany would supply Ukraine with Taurus missiles – capable of striking targets up to 500km away, potentially able to reach the Russian capital from Ukrainian territory. Merz noted that Berlin and its partners have lifted restrictions on the range of Western weapons Ukraine is allowed to use.

“In Moscow [press] offices, it is being discussed that if German troops strike Moscow with German weapons… the only option left for us is to strike Berlin,” Simonyan said.

A senior Russian lawmaker then warned that Russia could authorize strikes on German territory if Ukraine uses German-supplied Taurus cruise missiles to attack targets in Russian territory.

Andrey Kartapolov, chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee and a former deputy defense minister, noted that the long-range missiles require direct involvement by German military to operate, and thus would make Berlin a potential participant in such an attack.

US ready to apply ‘maximum pressure’ on Russia

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 28, 2025: The State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce in a Fox News interview said, the US President Donald Trump is ready to apply “maximum pressure” on Russia if the Ukraine peace talks fail to produce results.

Noting that the US president’s patience has “worn thin” and that he has expressed frustrations in his recent posts on Truth Social, Bruce told Fox and Friends hosts, in a clip posted on Monday by the network.

Threatening that Trump could resort to using all the tools at his disposal, to include additional sanctions on Moscow. The restrictions to be applied are part of a draft bill being pushed by Republican Senator, and prominent Russia hawk, the neocon Lindsey Graham. The bill outlines sanctions of up to 500% on all countries that continue to purchase Russian oil, gas and other goods.

President Vladimir Putin top aide Yury Ushakov has suggested that Trump is “not sufficiently informed” about events happening in the ongoing Ukrainian attacks on Russian cities. “Trump knows only about the retaliatory measures we are taking,” but is not being told about the attacks by Ukraine on Russian territory. And noted that Russia only strikes targets relating to military infrastructure or defense industry facilities.

The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov also noted similarly that Trump is only getting “filtered” information on the Ukraine conflict, “prepared by those who want to draw America into more aggressive action against Russia, in support of the Kiev regime.”

The United States readies for war

All medium- and long-range missiles fired into Russia receive their targeting and tracking coordinates from the United States satellites. So, the US is very much involved.

Sweden reports that in the early morning, about a dozen U.S. Marines took position in a field on the Swedish island named Gotland about 200 miles from the Russian city of Kaliningrad, firing their mobile rocket system with dummy munitions splashing into the Baltic Sea. The Trump administration would like to see the North Atlantic Treaty Organization get more “lethal.” Where Sweden is being used as a testing ground in Europe’s north, with NATO facing Russia on two sides. Europe wants war to drag on for years

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 27, 2025: German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced that he’s lifting restrictions on long-range weapons for Kiev to use against Russia, which “mean[s] more war, more killing, more bloodshed”. (Battleforworld.com: And all the long-range missiles launched by Ukraine, the targeting/tracking coordinates into Russia are provided by United States satellites.) The Chancellor in the past noted that he favors delivery of the Taurus missiles, which could allow the striking of targets deep inside Russia.

This shows that Europe is on the war footing, and “This is how you declare war — [and] not peace or compromise.”

From the UK, Tory leader Kemi Badenoch said that Kiev is fighting Russia on behalf of Western Europe, and Israel’s war against Hamas serves the interests of Britain. He calls Israel’s military operation against Hamas is a “proxy war” that is being waged on behalf of the UK, the Conservative Party leader member claimed in an interview with Sky News.

The Russian Embassy in London wrote on Facebook that “Ukraine is indeed fighting a proxy-war against Russia on behalf of Western interests. The illegitimate Kiev regime, created, financed and armed by the West, has been at it since 2014”.

The US Secretary of State Marco Rubio in March made a similar statement, saying that the Ukraine conflict is in fact a “proxy war between nuclear powers – the United States, helping Ukraine – and Russia.”

The Russian Ambassador Vladimir Barbin said that Denmark is deliberately trying to prolong the conflict in Ukraine and is working to obstruct peace that is meaningful/long-lasting – the efforts between Moscow and Kiev. – The senior diplomat also accused Copenhagen of aligning itself with policies that are designed to “bleed Russia dry” instead of supporting a fair and lasting settlement.

The New York Times reported on Monday citing sources that US President Donald Trump is considering a complete withdrawal from the Ukraine peace process and the reason is due to a lack of progress. The US president is reportedly reluctant to tighten sanctions against Russia. – The Wall Street Journal also reported that Trump is increasingly frustrated with the Ukraine peace process and may abandon it entirely if current efforts to solve it fails.

Trump has described the Ukraine conflict as “Europe’s war,” and was shocked by Moscow’s unwillingness to change its key terms for resolving the crisis, wrote the NYT article. Russia continues to insist that any sustainable peace must include guarantees of Ukraine’s neutrality, its demilitarization, denazification, and recognition of the new territorial reality on the ground – to which Europe and the United States are ignoring.

50,000 Russian troops amassing on the border with Ukraine

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 25, 2025: The media in the West is reporting that 50,000 Russian troops are amassing on the border of the territories already taken from Ukraine, to create a buffer zone further into Ukraine. The Russians are moving towards just miles away from the second largest city in Ukraine, Kharkiv.

In the next few days or weeks, the likelihood is that the Russians are going to make a major push into the city of Kharkiv to create a buffer zone. Russia threaten to go deeper into Ukraine if the West and NATO continue to supply Ukraine with weapons. And the United States and NATO is hinting that they will eventually deploy nuclear-tipped missiles near to Russia’s border.

In the next couple of days, things could ratchet up, with war rhetoric talk intensity coming from President Trump, along with leaders from Europe, criticizing President Putin, and with the neocon minions making the rounds on the television calling for tough sanctions on Russia and the delivery of more weapons to their war henchman Zelensky.

Some experts say otherwise, that this move by Russia is going to force Zelensky to the negotiating table to bring this war to an end. If he refuses, the Russians will continue to move into Ukraine territory.

Trump reacts to Putin’s largest drone attack on Ukraine

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 26, 2025: US President Donald Trump is furious at Moscow for targeting Ukraine he says “for no reason whatsoever.” Russia launched a series of missile strikes targeting military infrastructure in Kiev and other locations – after a week of constant attacks by Ukrainian drone raids involving hundreds of UAVs.

Apparently, President Trump is unaware that Ukraine significantly intensified its drone attacks inside Russia last week and tried to attack Putin’s helicopter, to which he did not give a press answer. In that drone attack against Russian territories, at least 764 drones were intercepted between Tuesday and Friday, and hundreds more of these attacking drones were destroyed over the weekend. The Russian press reported that a helicopter carrying President Vladimir Putin was caught in the “epicenter” of a massive drone attack by Ukraine, while he was visiting the Kursk Region on Tuesday.

The Russian military responded to what happened by conducting a major strike against a drone and missile production plant in Kiev on Saturday, which was followed by additional strikes on Ukrainian military facilities on Sunday.

Speaking to the press on Sunday, Trump said that Russia’s response was unwarranted and he was “surprised” by what he is seeing – in the news.

“I’m not happy with what Putin’s doing,” said President Trump. “We’re in the middle of talking and he’s shooting rockets into Kiev and other cities. I don’t like it at all… We’ll see what I’m going to do.” (Battleforworld.com: So apparently Trump is not keeping up with the news about Ukraine attacking Russia, and only watches the news when Russia attacks Ukraine.)

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attack Tatarstan and Tula with drones

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 25, 2025: The neocons are encouraging Volodymyr Zelensky to widen the war by attacking more regions inside Russia to include Tatarstan and Tula.

Saturday night, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a new wave of attacks using drones on the territory of the Russian Federation. The regions of Tatarstan and Tula were hit by the drones. Residents of Yelabuga town in Tatarstan reported a series of explosions over the city as air defense systems engage the drones.

While in the Tula region explosions started around midnight in different districts, to include Aleksin and Novomoskovsk. Local residents reported that at least 14 explosions were heard, followed by power outages in several areas. Emergency technicians were called to the areas affected.

Russia quickly responded with a storm in the sky over Ukraine where more than 300 kamikaze drones “Geran-2” entered the airspace of the Square (Kiev?). Also, at least seven Tu-95MS strategic bombers were launched from the Olenya airfield to target Ukraine. Air strikes were reported from the use of Russian UAVs targeting the Ukraine regions of Chernihiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Odessa, Sumy, Kiev and Kharkov.

Russian Iskander Missiles Hit Ukrainian Ship Carrying Military Cargo to Odessa

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 24, 2025: The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Saturday that it has launched an Iskander missile strike hitting a resupply cargo ship that was delivering over 100 containers with drones, unmanned boats and ammunition to the Odessa port, causing secondary detonations and a large fire at the pier.

Israel allegedly preparing STRIKE on Iranian nuclear sites

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 21, 2025: The news network CNN is reporting that Israel is preparing for a possible strike on Iranian nuclear facilities, according to new US intelligence. If Israel was to carry out such a move in the region it could risk major escalation and potentially damage President Trump’s diplomatic efforts toward a nuclear deal with Tehran.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s ultimatums and sanctions threats

Trump threatens Russia with ‘crushing’ sanctions

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 17, 2025: The further along into the peace settlement with Ukraine, the signs are showing that in the end it is likely not to amount to anything. Because the US Deep State media is pestering President Donald Trump to rope himself into a corner to give answers regarding if no peace deal is reached.

Fox News anchor Bret Baier in an interview aired Friday, asked Trump whether he would introduce new restrictions on Moscow. The president replied, “Honestly, I will if we’re not going to make a deal,” “Nobody uses leverage better than me.”

Trump noted that the US would assess the outcome of Friday’s Russian-Ukrainian talks in Istanbul. “We’ll see what happens. It will be crushing for Russia because they’re having a hard time with the economy,” the president said. And argued that his plan to boost domestic oil production would lower global prices, which is going to undermine Russia’s energy exports.

President Trump also added that Washington DC would impose new sanctions on Russia if it fails to reach a peace settlement with Ukraine. He said shortly after the two countries enter into direct negotiations since 2022.

Powerful earthquake shakes Türkiye

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 15, 2025: Ukraine’s Vladimir Zelensky is in the capital Ankara meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan as the United States deep state and British intelligence coordinate his delay tactics, on his way to the Istanbul Talks to negotiate peace for Ukraine. In the midst of all this leading up to the negotiations, a 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck central Türkiye on Thursday, shaking the capital Ankara.

Zelensky has ruled out making any territorial concessions to Russia, he told the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara. And Moscow remains firm that it will not return the new Russian regions of Kherson, Zaporozhye and the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, and reiterated that the regions are not up for discussion.

The Ukraine leader also said that “The Crimean peninsula is Ukrainian, and it always will be,” further adding that the same applies to other territories claimed by Ukraine. “We cannot discuss territorial issues – that would violate our Constitution,” Zelensky said. He continues to hope that sanctions and diplomatic pressure on Russia could create conditions for future discussions on “territorial issues.”

Former Ukrainian Prime Minister Mykola Azarov told Sputnik media that the goal of Zelensky is to sabotage the negotiations with Russia in Istanbul, “To make the Americans impose the toughest sanctions, to ruin everything, and then go home as a winner.”

The peace Zelensky is pursuing for Ukraine is like “a prison with unknown consequences,” Azarov said, further adding that “He will do everything to prevent any peace. Peace means holding elections, lifting martial law. His own people would tear him apart there.”

Pentagon’s War Itch?

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 15, 2025: Is the Pentagon hinting that something is brewing to escalate the Ukraine conflict into a direct US-Russia war? This is what Gen. Gregory Guillot, head of US Northern Command, claims, who has labeled Russia as one of the US’ “principal adversaries.”

Is this a veiled threat to Russia to get ready? – Military analyst and former Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter to Sputnik said, this statement signals brewing tensions within the Pentagon. – Ritter noted that Guillot is speculating on a conflict beyond his remit, which belongs to US strategic command, and that his stance contradicts Trump’s, who acknowledged Russia’s special military operation was provoked by NATO expansion.

“We had Trump say that there was justification for Russia’s actions, that they understood that the expansion of NATO served as a provocation,” Ritter noted.

In addition, the ringing of the Pentagon’s alarm bells into a warmongering position certainly cannot help the situation, because Guillot also claimed the US could be drawn into a “direct military conflict” with Iran, China, or North Korea, and went further saying, that “war with one adversary could quickly expand into war with an enemy coalition.”

The West does not hide the fact that a ceasefire is needed to prepare Kiev for the resumption of hostilities

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 15, 2025: Volodymyr Zelensky has said numerous times that the Ukraine conflict has to continue, with support from the West in supplying weapons, to eventually win against Russia.

The Istanbul Talks is scheduled to begin Thursday May 15 to negotiate peace, but so far the meeting is plagued with delays as Zelensky tries his best to sour the conference. Zelensky is meeting with Erdogan for a couple hours first, before deciding on whether to meet with the Russian delegation already waiting for the Ukraine representatives.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told reporters on Thursday that “It does not depend on us. Appropriate impulses are needed from Western sponsors. Our delegation has all the instructions and is working precisely within the framework set by the president. And we are ready for a serious exchange of views”.

US President Donald Trump told reporters on Air Force One on Thursday that “nothing is going to happen” on the Ukraine peace process until he and Russian President Vladimir Putin “get together.” And that he knows nothing about a [Ukraine] delegation.

Trump further noted that “I am not disappointed in anything … I know nothing about a delegation. I have not even checked. Look, nothing is going to happen until Putin and I get together. Okay? And obviously he was not going to go. He was going to go, but he thought I was going to go. He was not going if I was not there. And I do not believe anything is going to happen … until he and I get together.”

Russian FM Sergey Lavrov said at a ceremonial meeting of the Diplomatic Club, that the West does not hide the fact that a ceasefire is needed in order to prepare Kiev to resume hostilities. The English (i.e., the United States and Britain) are leading Zelensky like guides through the jungles of international politics.

France can’t give Ukraine any more arms

BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | May 14, 2025: President Emmanuel Macron announced Tuesday in a television interview that France has reached the limit on supplying Ukraine with weapons.

Macron defended his administration for supplying Kiev with weapons to continue the Ukraine conflict, but now say that the French government has done “the maximum we could” to help Kiev, given that Ukraine’s military was not set up to conduct long-term, high-intensity land war.

The French president noted, ”We gave away everything we had,” “But we can’t give away what we don’t have, and we can’t strip ourselves of what is necessary for our own security.” Macron highlighted that France’s approach was coordinated other Western donors (to include Britain, Germany, United States, etc.), with the aim to avoid direct confrontation with a nuclear-armed power (- but instead use Ukraine as a proxy).

The French government has committed more than €3.7 billion ($4.1 billion) in military assistance to Ukraine, as the conflict escalates in February 2022, according to the Kiel Institute’s aid tracker. Macron announced for efforts to scale up their domestic defense industry to continue manufacturing arms.

The announcement by Macron is not surprising, because on May 12, video postings on social media showed the French President along with Britain’s Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Germany’s Chancellor Friedrich Merz, sitting around a table with a small white item folded (reported on social media to be cocaine) with a little spoon close by, after a meeting in Kiev. Macron quickly concealed the white item in his hand and put it in his pants pocket, and Merz likewise did the same with the little spoon/stirrer. – The media tried to explain away the video calling it fake news, that the white item was tissue paper.
