The article seems to imply that this is a bad thing, because it results in Putin living in an ‘information vacuum’.

Israel planned pager attacks for 15 years

A US intelligence source has told ABC News that the Israeli intelligence services have been contemplating an operation along the lines of this week’s mass explosions of Hezbollah pager devices for at least 15 years. The source calls it a “supply chain interdiction,” and said the CIA has long been reluctant to employ similar tactics due to the risk of collateral damage.
However, the Russian news outfit Sputnik asked FSB counterterrorism vet Andrei Popov how the attack was pulled off, and what Hezbollah could do to prevent another incident from recurring.
ABC News reported on Thursday that according to an intelligence source, Israel planned Tuesday and Wednesday’s exploding electronic device attacks over many years, as a result of using shell companies and “multiple layers” of intelligence and assets to front a legitimate company, and some of those involved said they had no knowledge of whom they were really working for. Sources said the explosives were planted on/inside the tampered pagers alongside a remote switch to trigger. And according to the New York Times, three sources said to have been briefed on the operation used by Israeli intelligence from a set up of at least three shell companies for the pagers’ production, to include the now outed Budapest-based BAC Consulting.
“Such revelations are only possible under the supervision of the special services…and the journalist writing such things, I can say with 100% certainty, is an agent of the special services, handed something to write by a trusted person. Or an editor told them ‘here’s the information, write it in your own name,'” the FSB Reserve Colonel and Alfa anti-terror special forces veterans association member Andrei Popov in an interview with Sputnik. BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | September 20, 2024: The war between Israel and Lebanon, Mossad has introduced the ‘pager’ as an explosive device, which caught many off guard worldwide. An innocent device for communication use as been weaponized by Israel.
The news media in the West is reporting that the series of explosions killing several people and injuring thousands more in Lebanon on Tuesday Sep 17 was masterminded by the Israeli intelligence service Mossad.
An aide to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu originally hinted at the Jewish state’s involvement on X, but the post was later removed.
The New York Times reported that Israel had hidden explosives in a shipment of pagers imported from Taiwan, where microcharges, weighing several grams each, were placed next to the battery of each device.
The pager batch intercepted amounts to over 3,000 devices, which the militant group Hezbollah distribute to members throughout Lebanon, with a handful reaching allies in Iran and Syria. The number of rigged pager devices is said to be 5,000, from which 3,000 were detonated, according to Reuters.
Will the cellphone be next? The consumers of pagers, phones, laptops or any device that uses batteries, can no longer assume that these devices will not blow up, because we are now being informed, that such devices can be weaponized. Mossad has corrupted the global electronics supply chain and no one can be assured that the device they have, has not been sabotaged.
