America And Russia Diplomatic Tensions – United Nations

BATTLEFORWORLD – August 31, 2017: The diplomatic fallout between the United States and Russia went nuclear with the outgoing Obama Administration removing Russian diplomats from the Killenworth estate, in Long Island, New York on December 30, 2016, where the diplomats and their families were given several hours to leave. It was the first retaliatory response issued by the outgoing Obama administration regarding hyped up rumors about allegations of Russian hacking and meddling in the US presidential election. What Obama did was essentially defined the incoming President Trump foreign policy. And maybe privately the Democrats were becoming aware that Hillary was not going to win?

The obvious fact is that the elite shadow group (i.e. the Rothschild-Zionist-Bolshevik clique) that was supporting Hillary Clinton, who end up losing the election, where after disruptive forces were mobilized against President Trump, and these forces are trying to remove him from the presidency if they are unable to get him to do much of their destructive deeds regarding foreign policy – world domination.

And so the allegations about Russian hacking and election tampering will not be settled anytime soon, because this has become a rooted talking point for both Republicans and Democrats in media where tensions are being played out giving quick gratification entertainment.

This retaliation diplomatic feud between the United States and Russia will continue for sometime, until possibly the United Nations (UN) is drawn into unsolvable quarreling and become dysfunctional where it will disband. But we still have some ways to go for that, where diplomatic relations are no longer repairable and state members begin to withdraw from the UN organization, because the United States Corporation is in disarray.

UNGA Jerusalem Vote is Pretext for Trump to Slash Foreign Aid – Analyst

SPUTNIKNEWS – December 22, 2017: Commenting on Donald Trump’s threats to slash funding to countries ahead of a UN vote on Jerusalem, Turkish political commentator Oya Akgonenc Mugisuddin told Sputnik that it can be seen as nothing but the US President’s financial ultimatum.

Turkish political analyst Oya Akgonenc Mugisuddin, a former opposition member of Turkey’s parliament, said that the US openly threatening other countries with financial force reflects Washington’s frenzy over the current situation.

“They [the US] have delivered an ultimatum to the voting countries: either you unconditionally support our unilateral decision [on Jerusalem] or we will slap sanctions against you,” Mugisuddin said.

She added that the decision on whether to render assistance to any country unilaterally depends entirely “on the choice of the United States.”

“At the same time, it is important to note that similar behavior of the US Administration […] indicates that Trump, who accentuates the slogan ‘America first, uses this [UN General Assembly] vote as a pretext to stop assistance to other countries,  something that he has already been mulling for some time,” Mugisuddin emphasized.

She also pointed out that the countries, which voted against the US decision on Jerusalem and which united in line with the rule of law, found themselves “in a winning position, given that threats and pressure from the US will continue.”

“They take hundreds of millions of dollars and even billions of dollars, and then they vote against us. Well, we’re watching those votes. Let them vote against us. We’ll save a lot. We don’t care,” he said. Link: Read Complete Article

Putin: Russia Supports UN Reform If Interests Of All Members Accounted For

SPUTNIKNEWS – October 3, 2017: Russia supports the expediency of UN reform, but changes must take account of the positions of all of the organization’s participants, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Tuesday at a ceremony where the new ambassadors of 20 countries presented their credentials.

Russia is committed to enhancing the effectiveness of the United Nations. We support the expediency of the organization’s reform, adapting to the requirements of our times,” Putin said as he received the credentials of some 20 new foreign diplomats, including US envoy Jon Huntsman in the Kremlin.

The president added that any reforms must be created collectively, and taking account of the interests of all participants of the organization.

“We consider it important that any qualitative changes in the work of the organization be measured, and implemented on the basis of a broad consensus among the participants of the international community, if not the consent of everyone involved,” Putin added. Link: Read Complete Article

United States Withdraws From UNESCO, After Repeated Criticism Over Perceived Anti-Israel Bias

TELEGRAPH – October 13, 2017: The United States is withdrawing from UNESCO, after repeated criticism of resolutions by the UN cultural agency that Washington sees as anti-Israel.

“US taxpayers should no longer be on the hook to pay for policies that are hostile to our values and make a mockery of justice and common sense,” said Nikki Haley, US ambassador to the United Nations.

“The purpose of UNESCO is a good one. Unfortunately, its extreme politicization has become a chronic embarrassment.”

US Ditching UNESCO Signals Crisis In International Relations – Presidential Council Chief

SPUTKINNEWS – October 13, 2017: Washington’s decision to abandon the UN cultural organization, UNESCO, points to a crisis in the system of international relations, head of the Russian Presidential Council for Human Rights and Civil Society, Mikhail Fedotov, said on Friday.

“The US withdrawal from UNESCO is another ominous sign of a deep crisis within the system of international relations, which for decades has relied on the rule of international law and good faith relations among the leading powers,” Fedotov told TASS.

UNESCO’s key mission is to contribute to building peace founded on mankind’s intellectual and moral solidarity, he recalled. “Unfortunately, the US defiant withdrawal from UNESCO does not bring us closer to building this peace, this is a clear step backwards,” Fedotov stressed.

The Russian human rights official said he has “mixed feelings” about Washington’s decision. First, the United States like the United Kingdom and Singapore had already pulled out of UNESCO, and then returned to the organization, he noted. Second, the US has been refusing to pay its dues to UNESCO for several years, driving it into a deadlock and punching a hole in its budget. Link: Read Complete Article

Analyst: ‘Zionist And Jewish Lobby’ Made ‘Blindfolded’ United States Withdraw From UNESCO

SPUTNIKNEWS – October 13, 2017: After several years of rocky relations, the United States as well as Israel have withdrawn from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), citing, among other factors, the organization’s alleged anti-Israel bias.

The US stopped paying its dues because US laws passed in the 1990s prohibit Washington from financially supporting any UN organization with Palestine as a full member, which UNESCO became in 2011.

Unfortunately now with the Trump administration and [US Ambassador to the US] Nikki Haley, the new sheriff at the UN, Israel comes before the US, before the Palestinians, before anyone,” said Ramani. “The Israelis and the Americans like to describe their relationship as a ‘special relationship.’ In this relationship, Israel is special and America is the relation.” Link: Read Complete Article

Putin Orders Cut Of 755 Personnel At U.S. Missions

WASHINGTONPOST – August 31, 2017: Russian President Vladimir Putin said Sunday that the U.S. diplomatic missions in Moscow and elsewhere in the country will have to reduce their staffs by 755 people, signaling a significant escalation in the Russian response to American sanctions over the Kremlin’s intervention in the 2016 presidential election.

The United States and Russia have expelled dozens of each other’s diplomats before — but Sunday’s statement, made by Putin in an interview with the Rossiya-1 television channel, indicated the single largest forced reduction in embassy staff, comparable only to the closing of the American diplomatic presence in the months following the Communist revolution in 1917.

In the interview, Putin said that the number of American diplomatic and technical personnel will be capped at 455 — equivalent to the number of their Russian counterparts working in the United States. Currently, close to 1,200 employees work at the United States’ embassy and consulates in Russia, according to U.S. and Russian data. Link: Read Complete Article

United States A ‘Danger’ To The World – Top UN Economist

SPUTNIKNEWS – September 30, 2017: Leading US economist and UN special adviser Jeffrey Sachs has warned that White House military policy and powerful business interests, as well as President Donald Trump’s dangerous rhetoric, are hindering international efforts to address global challenges.

Three years ago, the United Nations adopted the 2030 international agenda for sustainable development — a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity, seeking, among other goals, to eradicate poverty and strengthen universal peace.

Sachs, a Columbia University professor, said in a recent interview with the Thomson Reuters Foundation that although he was “not pessimistic” about the international agenda, he felt that White House policies and the actions of President Donald Trump could thwart its implementation.

US May Deliberately Stop Russian Defense Officials From Attending UN Events

TASS – October 14, 2017: The US denial of visas to a delegation of the Russian Armed Forces’ General Staff for a trip to the United Nations headquarters makes one think that Washington had made a decision not to let them take part in the briefing on strategic stability threats, Russian Foreign Ministry’s Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Friday.

“The sad regularity of such disruptions makes one think that they are not accidental,” Zakharova said. “Now, they seem to have decided that Russian experts should not attend the briefing held at the UN on strategic stability threatened by the US global anti-missile defense system, which is not at all defensive,” she said.
