Ex-CNN analyst: Major news outlets ‘Zionist organizations’
BATTLE FOR WORLD / JEWISH INSIDER | July 16, 2019: The article highlights that Former CNN commentator Marc Lamont Hill claimed that news outlets like NBC and ABC were “Zionist organizations” that produced “Zionist content,” during a panel on Friday (July 12) at the annual Netroots Nation summit held by progressive activists in Philadelphia.
Hill lost his job with CNN after calling for a “free Palestine from the river to the sea,” during an appearance at the United Nations. The statement by him was interpreted by many that’s pro-Israel as a call for the elimination of Israel, something Hill denied.
In a question from the audience, Hill responded: choices are faced by young journalists when they tell stories about Palestinians.
“They’re like, I want to work for Fox, or I want to work for ABC or NBC or whoever. I want to tell these stories,” said Hill. “You have to make choices about where you want to work. And if you work for a Zionist organization, you’re going to get Zionist content. And no matter how vigorous you are in the newsroom, there are going to be two, three, four, 17, or maybe one powerful person – not going to suggest a conspiracy – all news outlets have a point of a view. And if your point of view competes with the point of view of the institution, you’re going to have challenges.”
T-shirt sales at the panel summit drew condemnation from Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL). In a statement to Jewish Insider, Greenblatt said “Zionism is nothing like white supremacy. And that anyone who offensively claims Zionism is a white supremacist project is ignorant of the tremendous diversity of modern Israel and seeks to negate the millennia-old connection of Jews to the Land of Israel.”

US Gov’t propaganda tool – using actors, comedians and entertainers to report news
BATTLE FOR WORLD / RT AMERICA | October 13, 2019: Many are asking is the media too cozy with the weapons industry that it is supposed to keep in check and is the Ellen DeGeneres show part of the problem?
Studies show that most Americans get their news, not from journalists, but from actors, comedians and entertainers of television shows. And those actors, comedians and entertainers make tens of millions of dollars, and they’re paid in part by the very corporate interest with ties to the weapons and the banking industry.
Shows that are so-called entertainment shows like that of Ellen DeGeneres often normalize militarism both at home and abroad. A leaked 2009 memo from Hillary Clinton’s State Department transition team, where they actually identify platforms to push the states’ agenda: These outlets can create vital support for official policy or pending legislation among key domestic constituency groups, but also momentum for policy abroad. The memo lists different platforms targeted for use by the US government.
The memo lists a “Woman Category” and includes the following shows: Oprah, The View and Ellen DeGeneres.
Regarding Ellen, the memo states: “Further, her show is syndicated internationally to ten countries, including Canada, Australia, and India. She is a big supporter of Hillary Clinton and is willing to use her platform to help promote the agenda of the new Secretary of State .”
These shows become useful tools for the US government, because they are looking for propaganda assets, witting or unwitting. In the old days people would look for a figure like Walter Cronkite, but today that figure represents hosts of television shows like Ellen, The View, Oprah, etc.; they are the entertainers.
According to author and whistleblower Tiffany FitzHenry, the pro-war news coming from the news media and the entertainment media is almost virtually the same, except it looks different and that’s what so deceiving about it, because they’re pushing the same talking points. Ellen along with other shows and entertainers, they are in the news business to sell war vis-à-vis the Pentagon, the Department of Defense, etc. and you begin to realize that it is the whole system working hand in glove to manufacture consent from Americans. It’s very elaborate and it is a system.
The job of the Ellen show is to help normalize political figures and military foreign policy to her audience, nationally and internationally. She also promotes domestic policies like mass surveillance, giving airtime to the Alexa device from Amazon multiple times. She even jokes about the device’s permanent listening mode.
The old way used advertisers…, but today the art has transformed to television personalities and social media individuals given the name “influencer”, to influence people and groups unaware into any cause, movement or agenda.

Trump Campaign Threatens to Sue CNN, Demands Substantial Damages from Bias
BATTLE FOR WORLD / WASHINGTON EXAMINER | October 18, 2019: Law firm representing Trump sent letter to CNN’s President Jeff Zucker, threatening to sue.
The president has been outraged by secretly-taped anti-Trump comments attributed to CNN President Jeff Zucker and others at the cable news network, and in the letter is demanding an appropriate resolution of the matter or willing to file lawsuit for “a substantial payment of damages.”
Since being elected as president of the United States in 2016, Trump has long been at war with CNN and other news media he calls “fake news.” He has had run-ins with CNN’s White House reporter Jim Acosta, who appears to goes out of his way every chance he gets to irritate the president.
The belief among many is that CNN is focused on trying to ‘take down President Trump,’ driven by a ‘personal vendetta’ that Mr. Zucker purportedly has against him, rather than reporting the news in an objective manner,” wrote Harder in the letter to CNN’s president.

The series of tape recordings is the biggest story of the year (2019), according to Project Veritas; to be a hard-hitting piece of hidden camera muckraking into one of the supposed “most trusted names in news.”
The few who have come forward revealing company bias included two Google employees, a Facebook subcontractor and a Pinterest engineer who all gave up their salaries and careers for the public’s right to know.
“This was an act of atonement. An attempt to make my conscience clear,” said Zach Vorhies, the employee who leaked Project Veritas the “Algorithmic Unfairness’ document inside Google.
“Are we going to just let the biggest tech companies decide who wins every election from now on?” said Greg Coppola, who has lost his job at Google for speaking out.
“I felt the public had a right to know,” the Facebook insider said, who was fired for taking screenshots of them “Deboosting” videos because of political reasons.
“For me there was no other option. I could go through the comforts of life, but what are we saving our ammo for,” said Eric Cochran, a Pinterest engineer, who was escorted out the building after the leak. “They can stop one man, but they can’t stop all of us.”
The big dump pending will inform the public about the true workings of CNN, the news company that prides itself with the motto:
“The most trusted name in news; Facts first.”

Document hosting website Scribd, meanwhile, has been deleting copies of Tarrant’s 74-page manifesto.

Trust in media hits bottom; 60% say sources pay for stories
BATTLE FOR WORLD / WASHINGTON EXAMINER | February 26, 2019: The article highlights that in the United States the confidence in media has hit rock bottom, because many news consumers believe that reporters write articles before knowing the facts and 60 percent are under the impression that sources pay for stories, according to a depressing news survey by American journalism.
The poll also confirmed the pending death of print: newspapers and magazines; and the shift to social and online media for sources of news.
The grim findings that journalism faces, some key areas were listed as: The traditional press led institutions of trusting news, to which the public had the lowest confidence. The survey says: 40 percent get their news from television; 40 percent use online and social media sources to get news; a low 6 percent get their news from the traditional newspapers and magazines; 60 percent share the believe that sources pay reporters; 41 percent say they do not believe stories with anonymous sources; and 42 percent of Democrats polled believe that the media isn’t biased, while a low 10 percent of Republicans said the same.
So the traditional news media platforms are in a state of uncertainty, with trust issues, as news stories become more politically driven with some form of character assassination in sight or scores to settle. The current state of news media thuggery expanding.

“There are very, very strict laws on grand jury secrecy,” New Jersey Governor Chris Christie said Sunday, during an appearance on CNN’s State of the Union. “And so depending upon who leaked this to CNN, that’s a criminal violation potentially. …”

The Fox anchor said it’s crucial to raise some questions before the arrest of Roger Stone – an associate of Donald Trump – fades from the headlines. Stones’ arrest was almost entirely devoted to a CNN crew being conveniently present at the early-morning FBI raid on Stone’s Fort Lauderdale house.
And the question is being asked: “How did CNN know about a raid that was supposed to be a secret? Did they learn from [Robert] Mueller’s team?” Carlson asked. Robert Palladino, the US State Department’s deputy spokesperson, told reporters on Thursday (February 7) during a press briefing that Gabrielle would provide the agency with the “permanent leadership we have needed to bolster the global engagement center’s operations.”
Gabrielle adds to the list of Fox News personalities to be employed by the Trump administration, and follows the likes of Heather Nauert, who was appointed recently as the next US ambassador to the United Nations. And also Bill Shine, former Fox News executive, presently serving as the White House deputy chief of staff for communications.
Brett Bruen, the former director of the Global Engagement Center during the Obama administration was disappointed with the decision and told CNN that Gabrielle is inexperienced and not right for the task. And that “Her appointment endangers our elections, our public discourse and potentially our economy.”

British media regulator to consider sanctions against Russian TV channels
BATTLE FOR WORLD / TASS | February 12, 2019: The article highlights that British media regulator Ofcom is considering the introduction of sanctions against Baltic Media Alliance Ltd, the license-holder of two Russian TV channels (NTV Mir Baltia and NTV Mir Lithuania) over their failure to be impartial in covering, according to the regulator’s report released on Monday (February 11).
The British regulator said “this is the sixth time that the Licensee breached the due impartiality rules in the Code on its channels NTV Mir Lithuania and NTV Mir Baltic since November 2014.”
Ofcom complaints targeted two broadcasts on NTV Mir Baltia on April 2 and 3 last year (2018). According to the regulator the violation occurred in the Segodnya news program, where a discussion was held on April 2 on the poisoning of Russian ex-Colonel Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury.
In that program, said Ofcom, the news stations quoted a statement by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who said that the British colleagues’ “inability to answer the questions on Skripal case would mean only one thing: that all of this is fabrication or, specifically, a rude provocation.”

However, two reporters inside the country told Sputnik this is very far from the truth.
The reality is that three quarters of the international community is behind Maduro, and the country is operating more or less as normally as it was before Juan Guaido, the speaker of the country’s National Assembly, declared himself to be interim president on January 23.
Maduro’s caution and skepticism of the Trojan horse of international humanitarian aid is completely justified, given the figures in Washington who are overseeing it, two journalists in Venezuela told Sputnik Monday (February 11).
