The information about Russia has been confirmed that there is already a presence of a Russian nuclear submarine near the Strait of Hormuz. – Also, there is a confirmed announcement by Chechen forces that they will enter Iran to fight the United States if the invasion takes place. – There is also (an unconfirmed) report that China is moving 100,000 troops into Iran if the United States invades.
In the mean time, Moscow has officially deployed six submarines, that include two nuclear ones, near the Strait of Hormuz for a discreet mission to protect Iranian infrastructure, according to reports. Their primary role is to prevent the United States and Israel from freely entering the strait or approaching the Iranian coast.
This deployment news is sending a strong political message to the West, signaling that any major escalation against Iran could directly involve Russia. The US Treasury Department has updated the license list of countries, targeting Cuba, Iran and North Korea, to be prohibited from engaging in any transactions involving the sale, delivery or unloading of Russian oil and petroleum products. The license update is linked to reports that a Russian tanker carrying 700,000 barrels of oil to arrive in Cuba by the end of the month (March). The island has been subjected to sanctions by the US since the late 1950s.
Days earlier, Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev stated that Russia and Cuba maintain ‘strong ties’ amid ‘unprecedented sanctions pressure from the West’ as the neocons continue their hegemonic madness.

Russian oil tankers are heading to Cuba
BATTLEFORWORLD.COM | March 18, 2026 (updated): The Trump administration deliberately cut-off Cuba from Venezuelan oil to help agitate civil unrest inside the country from the fuel crisis the United States hope to exploit to bring about the fall of the Cuban government.
Last Friday (March 13), Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel announced that the country is open to dialogue with Washington DC “without renouncing our principles or sovereignty.” And said that Cuba has not received oil shipments for the past three months due to the “wicked” blockade (put in place by dictator Trump), which has impacted many, including children in need of medical help.
The Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement to declare its readiness to provide assistance to Cuba, including energy supplies. And the Kremlin has confirmed that it is in constant contact with the Cuban leadership.
Russia is coming to the rescue, sending oil tankers, heading to Cuba, according to Bloomberg reports, citing data from Kpler Ltd. Data shows that the two vessels are currently heading towards Cuba – known as the ‘island of Liberty’ (Isla de la Libertad – a phrase used after the Cuban revolution).

The oil vessel is carrying 730,000 barrels of Russian Urals crude oil. And preliminary information suggests that the vessel is expected to arrive in Cuba by the end of this month. A second tanker, the “Sea Horse,” is also en route to Cuba with a cargo of gas oil on board, but this vessel at the moment is not trackable at the time.
Many are curious as to whether the Russian tankers will be able to overcome the US naval blockade currently imposed around the island to prevent oil from reaching it. Due to the embargo put in place by the United States war faction, Cuba is virtually deprived of fuel, and so the island is experiencing an energy crisis.
